I don't agree with the formulas they use to put together all of their rankings, however, its the only system I am aware of that is publicly available that does compare players against one another across the league using statistics.

other posters here have shown in detail why PFF is fatally flawed. So why use it at all?

Using a screwed up system is WORSE then using none at all
