We can not catch a break at center. Cook should be good to go, but man it is just a revolving door there.

IIRC, Cook has been playing injured for awhile. I *think* he got injured the week before Costa came back. Because Costa got reinjured, then Cook probably didn't have time to rehab/recover from that.
Maybe this is just a rest day due to the short turnaround for the next two games.

I wonder how Kowalski's progressing. Apparently he wasn't the one filling in for Cook, so I guess he's not ready yet. I wonder why the media don't provide info like Kowalski's status.

Actually, there's a follow-up article on ESPND.. He worked at C a bit, but it was mainly for learning Callahan's techniques.

Yeah, we are all disappointed he has been injured but we just might need him down the stretch. Unless, you got any other ideas as to where to find a safety at this juncture.

Whispers are this kid can play(lee/carter giddiness) and these injuries are not historical for him. Jason Garrett has to be given some credit for gamesmanship in this situation on how he has kept everyone in the dark.

Because he wants to be the first player in Cowboy history to be on the Injured Reserve list for every game for a whole season.

I get the sense the team's really high on him, too. Both on draft day, and from the limited work he's been able to do this year.
I don't like the repetitive injuries, but if he works out like Bruce Carter did for us last season, I could live with that. We had people down on Carter for being hurt and only contributing on ST last year at this point, too. You just can't tell until the guy gets on the field.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

Felix Jones is looking closer to his old self which is great to see because he can be a real weapon along with Murray.

Amen. As frustrating as it is to see a guy occupy a roster spot (especially when we have other positions with limited depth), it's all just speculation until we see him out there. And I'm sure if he gets healthy he'll see time on the field. It seems Rob is very good at playing pretty much everyone who dresses.

I despise the white helmets... I despise the alternate jerseys.
I don't care if it is only 1 time per year....
I despise them.

Feels like Deunta Williams will be heeled before him. And Williams gave up football
