The have machines now, that allow for both to be played on a single system. I have 2 different ones, one is a sega/snes and the other is a nes/snes.
Everybody's got a price, for The Billion Dollar Man!

snes all the way. much better games, ESPECIALLY if you are into the RPG genre.
Also, as someone already mentioned, they make machines now that will play both.

SNES has some truly great games, it's in my opinion the greatest system ever. While sega had some good game the good games on the SNES are simply amazing.
Super Metriod is my all time favorite game, original Mario Kart is still the best Mario Kart by a mile. If you're into JRPGs there's simply to many great once to list

Which Sega? Genesis? SMS? Dreamcast? I thought the Genesis was the best and better than the SNES.

SNES all day. My family got one the Christmas of 1996 (when everyone else was getting N64's and PS1's). My childhood was pretty much: Super Metroid. Mario Kart. F-Zero. Starfox.

I've got a prayer on my desk. It says, "Dear Lord, I pray that my place will never be with the cold, timid souls who do not compete yet criticize, for they never know or feel success or failure."
