I've seen 18 years of these reruns and they don't get better with age. Until Jerry fades into history, we are doomed to repeat the past, sadly.

Being a Cowboy's fan these days is kind of like being British.
You dream about past dynasties.

We need to get a championship team together to be America's team again.

It doesn't matter if we go undefeated, or 0-16....we ARE America's Team. It's like a brand name almost. Any team that tries to use the nickname is invoking the Dallas Cowboys, even if they don't explicitly say so.

We will always be America's team into the foreseeable future. Whenever that term is thrown around, the Cowboys are the first thought, not the Packers, Steelers, etc and never will be.
We could go 0-16 for 5 straight years and we are still America's team
Everyone has a plan, until they get hit.

Oh man.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.
