Default Source: Miles Austin will be ready against Eagles

ESPN.com news services

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin is expected to recover from hip and back injuries to play Sunday night against the Philadelphia Eagles, a source told ESPN's Ed Werder.

Austin was injured on the first play of the Cowboys' second series in the team's Thanksgiving Day loss to the Washington Redskins and did not return.

Dallas hopes to return another offensive weapon to the field as well, as running back DeMarco Murray is scheduled to attempt to practice Wednesday for the first time since suffering a midfoot sprain.

Although Murray may practice this week, a source said his availability to play against the Eagles is not guaranteed.

The guy cannot stay healthy. Simple as that; his hamstrings keep acting up and he is only maybe 80%. He costs too much to keep. Toss him.

Agreed. ALSO, we should probably send someone in the area to Romo2Austin's house for suicide-watch when that happens.

There is no formula for success except an unconditional acceptance of life and what it brings.

Yet and still he has yet to miss a game this season and still on pace to be 1,000 yard reciever. Dez and Miles are a terrific 1/2 combo at the wide reciever position. Breaking them up would be stupid. Glad you guys aren't the GM. No way Dallas cuts Austin. If need be he'll restructure his contract to remain a Dallas Cowboy.

It's strange to see Dez come out of the dog house and Miles going in.
