But the personnel problems have been more or less isolated to WRs and OTs and S. And then depth at OC and ILB. Given the extent of the damage at those spots, though, the 3rd and 4th string backups have actually played ok. It's just not reasonable to expect us to go 3 and 4-deep at those positions.
So, what you are saying is that it is talent, coaching, execution and injuries?

Sadly. I don't think it's just one thing with us. I actually wish it were.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

I'm not going to post it here because it is a link to a site you have to register for (although free) and the board prohibits full articles.

However, google an article from 2001 named "The Devil and Mr. Jones" that was in Texas Monthly. It is eerie how little has changed since 2001.

I have zero confidence in the man, so nothing he says would change my outlook or opinion of the team. Confidence comes from demonstrated ability and he has yet to demonstrate any ability in fielding competent linemen. It's funny how now that the wheels have fallen off and all the predictions have come true regarding the OL that the vehement sunshine pumpers are searching for new ways to categorize the failure.

This organization doesn't use the word "rebuild" or "re-tool".

They use "process".

Even if the offensive line is finally addressed ala the CB spot this year, there are still big issues at safety, center and defensive line.

Just get prepared for an offseason thinking Barry Church returning off of an Achilles injury is going to shore that spot up. The problem is, while he was showing promise, he was not a proven solution even when he was healthy. The same goes for Costa. Lissemore will be the revelation at end, Brent at nose tackle. None are sure things, but will be viewed that way.

Our "core" is getting to the point where it needs to be addressed, but I am sure the "window" will be another topic this offseason. Maybe this year it is closed.

The real problem for this organization is bad decision making coupled with poor self-evaluation.
Don't you worry about the great Barry Church he will be fine.
victory is ours

Barry did look pretty good up until the injury as well as Carter,,, it's too bad they didn't have an offense to help them out this year.
