Default Lattimore likely to enter draft

November 28th

- Looking for a sleeper at the cornerback position? Keep the name Robert Alford of Southeastern Louisiana on the tip of your tongue. We really like what we saw of him on film and from conversations apparently so do league scouts. I’ve been told a top 45 calling of his name is a possibility for Alford.

- The whispers are getting louder that Rutgers running back Jawan Jamison will opt for the draft at the end of the season.

- Insiders also tell me that its apparent Marcus Lattimore will also enter the draft despite the recent injury suffered by the South Carolina running back.

- We expect to hear sooner rather than later from Akeem Spence/DT/Illinois, that he will enter the draft.

- We’ve heard from several people that Mississippi State guard Gabe Jackson is likely to enter the draft.

We feel the college defensive end it one of the better 3-4 outside linebacker prospects in college football right now. We also think, assuming he runs well, Mack is a top 75 selection, possibly top 60 pick. Sources have told me they don’t know whether Mack stays for his senior season or opts for the NFL- a clear indication he’s at least thinking about the 2013 draft.

I need to find a Buffalo game somewhere.

Where will Lattimore get picked if he enters in 2013?

2012 Injury: Surgery to repair multiple ligaments in his Right Knee.

2011 Injury: Torn ACL in Left Knee.

That knee was destroyed. Never seen a leg bent that way and stay attached. I personally would not even draft him, maybe a 7th. The good news is his game was not based on speed, but i dont see how he could not be slower after that injury.

I did not see Mack or Buffalo play this year either. I am intrigued by Jackson the guard out of Miss St.

Default Lattimore

As bad as his injury looked.....Remember Willis Mcgahee

Who would have thought he would have returned after his horrific injury in the national title game vs Ohio St. to have a long NFL career

It's possible.

And Mcgahee went in the 1st round

Lattimore would do best to stay in college. Scouts are already edgy to take a flyer on a RB high much less one with multiple knee injuries. Lattimore is more of a bruiser than a speed guy, but the NFL is even more physical than the SEC.

McGahee has been able to stay in the NFL though I don't think anyone would consider him to be a star.

In this day and age, you simply don't draft a RB before round three IMO.

I don't see any chance at all that he will get drafted. He probably won't even be signed by a team. They are estimating he wont return until 2014. Who is going to pay a player for 2 years when you don't even know if he'll EVER be able to play again at a high level. Two knee injuries in 2 years.

I wouldn't touch him.
