Looking forward to seeing what happens. I hope they don't underestimate our intelligence and have him play it off and make up some story. If he comes clean it will be interesting.

On another note, like Yaeger said, Sundays are getting really serious. Sunday Night Football, Boardwalk Empire, Dexter, Homeland, the Walking Dead will be here soon. Thank God It's Always Sunny isn't on Sunday or I might actually feel a little overwhelmed.

From the preview I saw, it looks like he's going to try and play it off as a one time thing.

I really hope that doesn't last very long.

Me too. That would be ridiculous. People just aren't that dumb. I mean they are, but not Deb!

I love Dexter, but never underestimate the predictability of the writers.

Deb just needs to take a chill pill. Let dexter do what he does best. However, I feel Dexter is not helping his case out any but going back to his normal lifestyle, and making it rather apparent to Deb that he is not effected about killing him.

Really great opening episode to season 7. Loved the end of the episode. I was afraid they'd drag Deb finding out the whole truth throughout the whole season, but they got straight to it. Very very cool. Can't wait to see what happens.

To me, Dexter seasons 1 and 4 are up there with the best of The Sopranos, Lost, Breaking Bad and The Wire. I also really liked season 2. Season 3 was solid. Season 5 was subpar for Dexter, but still better than most shows. Season 6 was a mixed bag-- some very good, some not so good at all. Overall, it's still one of my favorite shows of all-time, Dexter is one of the great TV characters of all-time, and Michael C. Hall is just fantastic, but the up and downs of the last two seasons had me worried about this season. But the season premiere was really good, so my expectations/hopes are up. Looking forward to the rest of the season!

Still the same sloppy/lazy writing as the last few years, but at least the plot is looking decent.
Glad they jumped right into Deb finding out.

I would say, it didn't get good, until Deb found everything. Also, Deb is on camera tooooo much.

Yes, season 5 just needs to be erased from memory. Season 6 was forgettable.

This season definitely started off slow but the last couple of episodes have made up for that. I'm digging the Hannah McKay storyline although it's kinda forced. Would have been much better if they spread it over a couple of seasons and introduced her last year.

Season 5 had its moments..... I think Lumen was a great character and they realized that a character like that is good for the show.. hence why Hannah is on this season. Season 6 could have been much better but overall Colin Hanks was a decent villain. Let's face it though - nothing will ever compare to the Trinity Killer or the Ice Truck Killer.
