Maybe I will be excited for a Justice League movie after the new Superman comes out, but I can't say that I'm feeling it at the moment. I have not seen anything from DC that leads me to believe that they could ever pull of something on that scale. Adding in Darkseid, yeah, that is a little too close to Thanos. the average movie going schmoes are going to think DC is trying to cash in on Marvel's thunder, but really, who else does DC have that they could cast as the villian?
