A good GM should have a blue print and built accordingly instead of getting swayed by too many opinions.

A real GM isn't led by the nose. A real GM actually has a vision for his team.
This notion that Jerry is fine as long as he's got a staff holding his hand and leading him in the right direction is nonsense. There is no more important person in your football organization than the GM. If you get no substance from that guy, you're team is operating with one hand tied behind it's back.
We even go one better. We also get no substance from our VP of Personnel. You have to get to Tom Ciskowski for the first legitimate voice in our personnel department and all he's ever been involved with is failure. So who knows how good he even is?
