20 Yrd Dash: 2.81
10 Yrd Dash: 1.65
225 Lb. Bench Reps: 20

20 Yrd Shuttle: 4.35
3-Cone Drill: 7.34

01/23/12 - TOP TEN PROSPECTS WHO HELPED THEMSELVES AT THE EAST-WEST SHRINE: TE Chase Ford, Miami (Fla.): With only 16 career catches at Miami the past two years, Ford was a bit of an unknown entering this week. But he quickly showed off his skills as a natural pass catcher with fluid body control and terrific hand/eye coordination. At 6-feet-6 and 258 pounds, Ford has the size and frame for the position with reliable hands, especially in traffic. He is a bit one-dimensional as a pass-catcher and needs a lot of work as a blocker, but certainly put his name on the draftable radar after his work this week.

Nice. One of my draft sleepers. Texas kid, too.

Despite labeling myself a "realist", no one understands my pain or appreciates my special truth. Stupid world.

Every time I hear that guy's name, I think of a dog running after a truck. Now you guys will, too.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

It's fate. Jimmy's coming back to be our GM. A Miami Hurricane on the roster. How long has it been?

Back to serious, I think Ryan McNeil may have been the last Hurricane. BTW, they gave him #87.

Texas Ford dealerships must be hoping this guy makes it big. Could hardly ask for a better advertising trick....

Being that he is an undeveloped blocker, he will never see the field here.

Dez Bryant, Receiver. A man who's season is over. Gentlemen, the Cowboy's staff can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to make the world's first super human receiver.
Dez Bryant will be that man. Better than he was before. Better.... Stronger..... Faster......

I really liked this guy pre-draft. Thought he had some upside as a pass-catching 3rd TE.
At that moment a voice came over me and said, Look up, get up, and don't ever give up. You tell everyone or anyone that has ever doubted, thought they did not measure up or wanted to quit, you tell them to look up, get up and don't ever give up. - Michael Irvin

Why so few catches in college?

I believe the last one was Leon Williams.
