Sorry guys, I have to disagree on this one. Brees has looked quite good during pre-season and LT is ready and rested. Their defense has looked good against the run as well. SD matches up pretty well against our strengths and our defense is likely to make a few mistakes. LT or Brees will hurt us when we do. I think the line is a good one.

I have a much better feeling about this one than last year's opener against Minny. I knew we would get shelled and the game fulfilled all my expectations unfortunately.

it should be a very good game, actually. what i don't see us doing at all is laying down in the 4th qtr as we did so many times last season. there are just too many players who are young, vocal, and hungry to win. that, and having a vocal leader like bledsoe will keep the offense in line, while big plays from the defense will have them fired up.
i just hope we don't have to kick a last second FG to win. i won't be able to watch that... i cringe just thinking about it, actually!
