I'm a Romo fan for the same reason I was a Warren Moon fan - as long as he is on the field, you have a chance to win, regardless of the caliber of the players surrounding him, or even how bad the D might be.

He's definitely a polarizing figure; people either love him, or hate him, there's very little in-between.

That's because he's a Dallas Cowboy. It comes with the job.
Hell, it comes with the team. Not all posters here are Cowboy fans.

Kinda like the Dallas Cowboys. I'm sensing a correlation here.

From 2007:
The NFL Network compared the release times of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and Dan Marino, when the CBS analyst was playing, during Saturday night's game. Romo's release is faster — 0.26 seconds vs. Marino's 0.3.

Great post. He's so underrated and under appreciated it's ridiculous. He is a great QB and has been for a while. If he retires without a ring, it will be an absolute shame. I couldn't be a bigger fan of an athlete. He's a great player and a class act to boot. Romo, Ware, and Witten are three guys that I REALLY want to see win a championship.
"I just always feel that he's going to find a way to win the game…He has evolved into a great, great leader of the team...He is the total package." Roger Staubach about Tony Romo
"They're a talented group with a great quarterback, and they're well on their way." Troy Aikman on the Cowboys and Tony Romo
But what do Roger and Troy know about great quarterbacking, talent, leadership, and winning anyway?

Good question! I'd say Buffalo 2007. But in the end it was Romo who lead us from behind.
I don't think we've ever won a less than 200 yard 2 or more INTs and no TDs type effort from from Romo. But them again, how many of those has he had?
See, that's the problem right there. He doesn't have enough bad games to give the rest of the team a chance to be the hero.....that selfish SOB.

Once again with the game winning drive. He just doesn't do it in December...

I love Romo.
He was off today, for the majority of the day, without question.
But he made some clutch throws when they needed it most. That TD pass to Bryant was beautiful.
