Star Roethlisberger: "Steelers are the world's team."

When he was asked about Cowboys being America's team, he responded with that little jab.
At that moment a voice came over me and said, Look up, get up, and don't ever give up. You tell everyone or anyone that has ever doubted, thought they did not measure up or wanted to quit, you tell them to look up, get up and don't ever give up. - Michael Irvin

This is another reason why I really want to beat the Steelers on Sunday. Sick of them always have, always will be.

Ben doesn't strike me as that intelligent, but if you're gonna make a joke on the subject, I'd expect better than that.

Only thing worse would be if some Raven in response to this claimed they were the universe's team

Not surprised a guy who likes to force himself on women has a weak sense of humor.

Every team gets tired of answering the same old question about Dallas being "America's Team". Ben's just giving the reporter a good quote.

Would love to take a pole of the world and see who knows more about which team. I'm sure it would be a landslide?

I don't get it. Is he trying to say that the Steelers are a Soccer Team or what? I don't get it.

If it was an anonymous quote, I'd guessed Rex Ryan said it.
...with "The Little FurBall of HATE" shreding a sports editorial (see avatar)

Don't really have to, it's already been done in terms of television ratings and merchandise sales. And yes, the Cowboys are clearly still America's Team.

Cool...

as long he knows we are Americas team, all is good.

The fact that this sport was originated in America, and is still mainly only watched by Americans, it's all good. They can cater to their small outside following

Well, last time I checked America loves football and the world hates football. Sounds about right.

I just really don't like Roethlisberger. Living in the heart of Steeler country, this one is personal for me.

If Dez doesn't play I wanted us to lose, because it's not like we are going far without him, so it's better for a higher draft pick.

Now? I want to kill them...
