Well, looks like it's official. Harsin is headed to Arkansas St. to be their new HC.

ESPN is reporting this now.

Something is going on at Texas. This is very, very strange IMO.

Wait for it. Diaz is still trying to land another job. He wouldn't be doing that unless he had reason to believe he might not be around at Texas next year.

I'm actually not too worried about Harsin leaving, not that I don't like him or think he is a good coach, but I think major will be good also. I really hope manny gets another job!

I like Appleseed also. Always have. The only real problem I see are commits that have worked been recruited by Harsin who may now have a problem with his departure.

I think it is very strange that Harsin would leave after only one season thou. It doesn't help him and the job he's taking is not a step up IMO. If he were more patient, I believe he could get a much better job then this. Makes me wonder why this is happening so quickly?

Anyway, Texas will be fine with the Major IMO. He's an excellent young coach. He may well be the HC at Texas some day.

I realize his last name is Applewhite. However, he looks like Appleseed to me. Back in the day, they used to call him Appleseed because of his very youthful appearance. Perhaps you remember this? Just a small joke but thank you for trying to correct the perceived error.

Yes, you are correct about hire dates. Harsin did come aboard in Jan. of 2011. Diaz also came aboard in 2011. My apologies.

oh sorry I don't remember this I was about 10 when he was playing so I wasn't as involved with everything then, just cheered for him on saturday after my own football game lol

Indeed.......

For example, at one time, these were what passed for Mobile phones.

The one positive, they were much cheaper then their current counter parts.

I ain't that old, i've used one or two of them in my day lol. I was actually surprised that that adam lavigne(however you spell it) song got popular, I didn't think his target audience would know what it is and that you need change for it lol
