He was reported to be a player who could play some safety. Or, he could stay at CB with Claiborne back and let Carr play more safety as Coe comes up to speed with the defense.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

I didn't notice him out there which usually means a good thing assuming he was playing. I saw Coe out there with Jenkins and Carr but don't really remember seeing Moore out there.

McCray was PWNED by a TE. ALL night. Poor kid........
AS: Cowboys ice their own kicker in 19-13 OT loss
“That is one of the luxuries of my position as owner as well as the ultimate decision maker, general manager and president – I can do that and take the losses and come back for more,” Jones said.
God help us...............

Moore is indeed a great find by the team. I have it on good account that the Patriots were not only putting him in position to be a CB/S, but they also were using him as a nickel linebacker much the way that Barry Church earned his keep initially with Dallas.
I checked with my guy as soon as we signed him and he said that the Pats indeed had huge hopes for the guy, especially off the performance he had when they played him down the stretch due to all their injuries. There was a reason the Cowboys extended him a year already when they poached him from the Pats PS.
Also, don't be surprised if the team gets something out of Michael Coe. No inside info on him but he seems able to keep receivers in front of him and hasn't given up many YAC yards in his limited playing time.
I think both signings will allow Dallas to focus on the trenches in the draft in another year of having to play salary cap games.

Broaddus just said Rob Ryan eventually used him to cover Heath Miller.

Our propersonnel scouts really deserve a tip of the hat for the work they've done under Jason Garrett.

Jerry spent his time this offseason developing McCray, I believe.

I think we have done a much better job drafting and picking up talent off the streets under Garrett. That is the main reason I believe we should give him some more time. Let him actually build up a team longer than two seasons and see what he can do.
