One game after playing with a fractured left index finger that will require surgery when the season is over, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant believes he’ll be better.
Bryant made only four catches for 59 yards but did score a touchdown in a victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday and now he could be more involved this Sunday when the Cowboys host the New Orleans Saints.
“This finger (it's about) just mental toughness, that's all," Bryant said, according to Calvin Watkins of ESPN Dallas. "If I felt like it was going to bring me down, I probably couldn't be out here doing what I'm doing. I don't think about it as much. I don't feel the pain. I just go out and play football."
