More impressive season: Adrian Peterson or Megatron?
Adrian Peterson is primed to shatter Eric Dickerson's single season rushing record of 2,105 yards. His QB is mediocre at best and he faces 8 in the box on a regular basis. Minnesota is dead last in passing so he's a one man gang. Peterson needs 108 yards v. GB - the 14th ranked rush defense in the NFL - to break the record.
Megatron broke Jerry Rice's single season receiving record of 1,848 yards. He regularly gets coverage rolled to his side with a safety over the top. Detroit is 23rd in rushing so he doesn't get much support from his running game.
Megatron broke Rice's record in 15 games. If Peterson breaks Dickerson's record, he'll need all 16.
Who are you guys more impressed with and why? I'm going with Peterson. Thoughts?
