Smith would not work in Dallas IMO. He needs a strong running game to be able to get throws down the field. You cannot depend on him to get involved in a shootout. Right now your running game is sub par so I would advise against it. He is not the kind of QB to chuk the ball 40-50 times a game.

Terrible idea to get a young QB in the mix. I always hate when people want to plan for the future through the draft

If the Cowboys would have drafted Luck or Griffin this past draft, they would not have played a down this year. Garrett hates rookies, and doesn't play them. Besides The Cowboys would probably draft the QB from NW Toledo A&M Tech School for the blind and wait 4 four years to get in NFL condition.

And folks here would be saying you can't give up on young talent like that, that needs time to develop because he is from a small school!

I would love a trade with San Diego for Rivers, both he and Romo could use a change in residence IMHO. And if Norv were brought in as O.C. that would be a great way for the QB to be on the same page to hit the ground running from the outset of 2013.
Ha ha ha, yes, I am laughong at you.
