The Rangers will be fine. Unlike the Mavs, they have a lot of youth that other clubs envy. I trust the front office to make the appropriate moves to maintain competitiveness. I do think they can compete with the roster as is though. They are still good. The only piece they are going to miss is Hamilton's production but I think Olt/Profar will help make up for that.

The Mavs are in bad shape. I will give you that. They need to have a huge offseason by landing Dwight and either CP3 in free agency or trade for Rondo. They have the room to do it, it's just whether or not Cubes can pull it off.

And hockey sucks.

Yep we've been lucky to have 10 years of good Mavs teams and a nice little run for the Rangers. 2013 won't be pretty...Mavs are rebuilding and the Rangers will have to lay low for a few years before they get back to contention since the Profar Era will take some time

Rangers wont be what they have been, but they will still be a fun team to watch who can win any day of the week.

Don't forget a mediocre season by TCU and SMU, adds to the vanilla sports season of the Metroplex.

Far cry from a couple of years ago.

Mavericks won the NBA title
Rangers in the World Series for the 1st time
TCU won the Rose Bowl
Super Bowl in Dallas (crappy weather though)

Not much from the Stars and Cowboys, but otherwise pretty great.

Im wondering if Dirk May just retire or want a trade. I mean Cuban obviously has something brewing. He has literally like only 20 million next season on the books. He could buy 3 superstars. Thing is he isnt getting the top two. CP3 is not going awywhere neither is D12. Maybe Rondo.IDK. Must if its complete rebuild Dirk may be better off in a place like Chicago. Rose and Dirk would be wicked.

Why in the hell would we trade Dirk to Chicago? Let's just ship him out and get a bunch of meaningless draft picks and players. Hell no!

Dirk will retire here.

This year sucks, but Dallas will be back real soon. They could get a lotto pick plus multiple upper tier add-ons
