Esp with the success of RGIII, and the complete lack of decent QBs in this draft, I have to think Manziel would easily go #1 overall this year.
Still left to accomplish:
sign OT Winston or G Moore

Must all your post take a shot at Garrett?

No way Manziel could be the first pick if he were eligible this draft There are a lot of dumb GMs but I don't think any of them would be dumb enough to take a 6'0" 195 lb QB with only 1 year of starting experience #1 overall. That would mean he'd have to start immediately for a bad team and that would not end well at all.

exponentially safer pick than Jamarcus Russell was.
Manziel was also about 8x better than anyone else who played college football this year and probably for the next 2-3 years.
Heck I was rooting like crazy for OU last night, Manziel is just ridiculous good and it ain't like Texas A&M has a great team around him, its okay but nothing special. He impresses me more with his arm than RGIII did in college and we know he's every bit as dangerous as a runner. I would hate to be sitting at #1 with a crummy draft class like 2013 is, esp if your team desperately needed a QB, and NOT take Manziel but rather someone like Geno Smith or Landry Jones.
That'd be like taking Sam Bowie over Michael Jordan, or Leaf over Peyton Manning. He may not have good size or experience, but you can't pass on elite talent like that, esp at the QB position.

A&M doesn't have a great team around him? His left tackle could be the #1 overall pick and his right tackle could be a Top-20 pick too. Plus he's got a defense with a 1st round pass rusher too!

I'm tired of my friends saying he won't play quarterback in the NFL.
i'm tired of people drafting him as a freshman cause he had a good year.

Based on the video posted, it appears he doesn't go through his progressions most of the time. If his first read isn't open, although accurate, he either forces the throw, or attempts to make a play with his legs. Probably not unusual for a freshman, but I would consider him a run first qb at this point.
