Houston Rockets gripe
Probably the most exciting time in recent memory and only 40% of their audience can see them on TV, since Comcast Sports has an exclusive deal with them and Directv doesn't have an agreement with them.
I've yet to actually catch a whole game on TV. It sucks!
I'm now debating getting tix in the cheap seats for a game, so I can see at least one game before the season is over.

I picked up the NBA iPhone app for $9 so I can listen to every game. I have more time to listen than watch so it isn't too big a problem for me. It is really nice to have some homers talking about the game instead of listening to national guys or the local Portland clowns I get when that game comes around (not since the playoffs a long time ago).
By the way, Portland has been in this Comcast boat for about 6 years now. it doesn't get any better. DirecTV and Dish probably won't be carrying them.

Why don't you just steam a game from one of the less then legal sites? Is honesty your undoing? Shame, because I will pilfer anything not bolted to the ground.

Honesty is my undoing... sorta. lol
Plus, I'm afraid of the less-than-legal sites. I worry lots about viruses and whatnot so I stay off them.

I find my P2p to be pretty solid and virus free. They always have a few streams to chose from.

I wondered about that when it happened, but I guess I thought there'd be a way around it.
Didn't the Astros do something similar? I thought I remembered when the Rangers signed their TV deal with Fox a couple of years ago that part of the reason for the huge dollars was that they saw a chance to gain more of the state of Texas with the Astros possibly being limited by Comcast.
Ivy League

Yeah, the deal is with the Astros, too. I don't necessarily care about the Astros.
I was reading up on it, and there's an opt-out clause, but nobody knows the length. I get shutting down FSN Houston, but moving completely away from Fox sports just sucks.

you aren't missing much, the rockets are not that good. they do have some exciting players, but as a team, they are just average, if not below average.
BTW, I have no idea why the NBA has decided to give Harden so much love. It is ridiculous the number of calls this clown gets. Not even Lebron, Durant, and Kobe get these calls. I wonder what he would be if the refs weren't gifting him with over 10 FTs a game.

Not missing much? As a fan, I'm missing their current 20-14 record and #6 ranking in the conference.
Whether it stays that way remains to be seen, but I'd sure like to see their journey. Right now, I get nothing.. zip, zero, nada..

Just give league pass some time and NBA will drop it's price. You can then stream it in HD legally.
Except if your in the Houston area maybe check to make sure they don't black out on LP. That would suck.

They are actually a very fun team to watch. Harden, Lin, Parsons, Asik, and many others are playing very good ball.
