Good morning, Cbz and the same to the Zoners here and elsewhere. i'm hoping your weather is improving. It's in the mid 20's here and quite manageable. Only 26 days until I'm on vacation.
It looks like the Draft Zone is humming with good stuff. I really enjoy the information from the more informed fans and I get to learn lots about players I don't get to see. Take care, folks and have a great day.

Morning Pops. Morning Sarge, Bob, Job, Leon, Phil, Kristie, Zax, Zrin, Ologan, Yeags and maybe even Juke if he's around.
Morning to anybody new or anybody I left out (and sorry for that).
Posting a little late today. To be honest, I have no good reason why. LOL
It's pretty warm here and I am thankful Haven't had wind or real low temps most of this week. Cross your fingers I guess.
Everybody, have a great day!

Morning Cbz. Morning everyone. TGIF Have a great day heading into the weekend. Our temp will be in the mid 70's today so if the course is not full, I might try to get in a round of golf today.

Morning Pops.... Morning Gentlemen of the zone. Enjoy your round Leon. My understanding is we get hit with Phil's open gate policy tonight and will be cold for a week. Sure its heading your way.

Good morning, Cbz and all Zoners. Leon, nice to hear about your gold prospects. It's a bit chilly her for that as we are in the sub zero temp ranges. We will warm up to just above freezing by the beginning of next week, so I look forward to "beach time" by Wednesday. I have a friend who's invited me to go ice fishing this weekend, but I let him know that I already have plenty of ice, thank you.
Everybody relax and have a great day.

Morning Pops. Morning to all the regular posters and to any newcomers.
Well, had to open my big mouth. After having said how nice it has been here yesterday, today it's about 20 degrees and blowing like a wind tunnel. Probably snow later. Oh well, one day I'll learn.
Guess I should count my blessings. Could be much worse. Could be in Alberta Canada right now. How you holding up Phil?
Everybody, have a great Friday!

A shout out to CBZ and all my fellow zoners.
I haven't posted here much lately. Sadly more tragedy in the Eskimo household. Last weekend my son started having unexplained falls - very bizarre ones at first that I couldn't quite make out if they were something very serious or not as they were associated with short periods of unresponsiveness but then with very rapid recovery. At first emerg visit after first observed spell he seemed to be doing very well so wasn't too alarmed and left with promise of outpatient peds visit to be setup by Tuesday. But 3 days later spells increasing in frequency, longer and now some period of abnormal speech for awhile afterwards. Went back to emerg and they brushed us off again but stood my ground and demanded more urgent assessment. Was promised standby list for EEG next morning with two spots open as of 6:30 pm that night. That night my son had 7 spells lasting 60 to 90 seconds and with about 60 to 90 minutes of abnormal voice including 5 in his sleep. I stayed up at night and caught one of them on video to show to the neurologist.
The next morning he had a seizure at 6:45 and really wiped him out so I went back to emergency and demanded that the neurologist finally come and see him. Got his EEG first thing in the morning and went smoothly although he was a bit scared during this (meanwhile my wife was having her first postop across the street with surgeon which I couldn't attend - all okay there but still 10 more weeks non-weightbearing) and his mom wasn't available but I did the best I could. We then saw the neurologist and the boy was quite the trooper to put up with all the prodding of a 3rd emergency visit in 5 days and happily played along with the doctor's examination. After listening to us, wathcing the video, looking at the EEG he felt it was likely epilepsy probably with no underlying cause. It was unusual that he went from 0 seizures to 9 seizures in a single day so fast but that sometimes happens. He was put on a seizure pill and had only one seizure that evening and has had none the last two days so it seems to have settled them down pretty rapidly which we are very thankful for. The one last bit is to see when we feel comfortable to send him back to school, swimming classes, karate class, etc.
It's been trying times but I'm glad that things have settled down a bit. It's exhausting camping out in emerg day after day.

Morning CBZ and my fellow Zoners.
Another happy day - no seizures to report.
We built some Star Wars Lego together after work and he is really happy and seems like his normal self again. Very thankful for his recovery.
Thanks for the well wishes - every bit of encouragement helps during trying times.
