Default My 1st Crack at it Mock

Rd 1 – Ezekiel Ansah (DE)
Athletic and can literally play anywhere on the line. Raw with frame to grow. With an emphasis on fundamentals returning to Valley Ranch, we are getting him at the right time.

Rd 2 – Margus Hunt (DE)
See above description. Also provides depth at both DE spots in case Ware can’t hold up and can play some on the inside.

Rd 3 - Alvin Bailey (OG)
It’s time to start getting some fresh bodies in the trenches. Mobile big that provides competition in the interior immediately.

Rd 4 - Brennan Williams (OT)
See above description. Will provide depth at RT and competition for the swing spot

Rd 5 - Brad Sorensen (QB)
Developmental QB and it’s about time we got one.

Rd 6 - Tyrann Mathieu (CB)
Playmaker, playmaker, playmaker!!!! Worth taking a flyer on him this late.

Not a bad crack at it. Somebody said the honey badger was off their board, but I bet they jump all over him in the 6th.

Great draft. Love the first three picks. I'd take honey badger in the 6th. Don't know if Jerry and Red would.

R3 and R4 are solid football players.

R1 and R2 are very high upside, very high risk players, IMO.

I would be concerned taking one of them. Two would just be too risky for me.

Tyrann Mathieu only gets drafted if Garrett gets fired, IMO.

Give me some more speed at the WR/KR position in the late rounds, I'd take Marquise Goodwin in the 6th..

Question. Are you drafting Ansah and Hunt to play in 43?

I agree I could live with one of the first two picks, and both are too risky for my blood. I like Hunt in the second better than Ensah in the first. Mathieu makes no difference to me, I know some are high on him if he is closer to Pacman than Witten then I would care.

Better than good crack at the draft my friend.

Round 2 I'd switch to the best available safety, maybe Phillip Thomas out of Fresno State. I also think that we need another running back more than a developmental QB so I'd change that pick in the 5th. Not totally sold on the honey badger, but if it's just a 6th round pick then I could be good with that.

Good mock

Yes, I like both versatility to play outside and inside in the 4-3
