Default tfydraft:East/West Shrine Practice Report- East Squad:

16 Jan

http://www.draftinsider.net/blog/?p=6636
A breakdown of the players on the East squad participating in practice during Shrine Game week. Broken down numerically as shown on the roster. Updated for Wednesday!

Zac Stacy/RB/Vanderbilt: Solid short area quickness and a nice burst. Displayed good vision and overall running skills.

Collin Klein/QB/Kansas State: Struggled all day. Pushes the ball and cannot drive passes. Looked hesitant and slow to pull the trigger even in 7-on-7’s. Wed Did a better job throwing the ball, especially on screens yet looks much more comfortable running with the ball.

This David Bass is looking like he could be something. Wonder what's his draft range...he could be a great pick in the mid rounds

Surprised at the first day for Devin Taylor but not the second. This is someone who we should look at.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

Some interesting late round defensive lineman this year. Alot of depth in that area.

We should be able to add a few fresh bodies to our DLine rotation this year

I knew the kid from JMU was good. I didn't know he was that good. Kind of sounds like Arkin to me, tho.

Cooper Taylor/S/Richmond: Monstrous safety. Fluid and quick moving about the field. Nice pedal and turn. Showed a lot of good skills today

possible mid to late round guy

That dude is an enormous safety ... 6'4" 230.

Despite labeling myself a "realist", no one understands my pain or appreciates my special truth. Stupid world.

I'm projecting him to LB in the Cowboys new scheme.

You don’t know what you don’t know.

Perhaps, but the scheme has also utilized SS who are essentially 4th LBs like Lynch and Archeletta.
