When Houston Nutt coached @ Boise St. (I'm alumni) we couldn't get rid of this guy fast enough.
He is an administrator type.....doesn't know squat about X and O's
And if he is gonna coach running backs....you might as well hired me.
@ least I was a 2nd team all-state RB in high school.
That could because, at the time, Boise St., didn't have alot of talent. Look at what he had Arkansas, with McFadden, Hillis, and Jones. The results speak for themselves.
broaddus said this morning he has not been hired and it was just an interview.
espn 1033 yesterday speculated they were just trying to help him get his name out there because he wants to get in the nfl.
so maybe he is not hired.
Thank God. Because this move didn't make any sense to me. Not that I care *all* that much who the RB coach is. I just think for the purposes of continuity that that's a position that should probably have a developing coach in it--someone who can potentially be moved up if you lose somebody above him and somebody more likely to be subordinate (in terms of personality) to whoever the OC is.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

Probably wouldn't hurt to use him as a sounding board on players he recruited and played against in the SEC, before they head off the Senior Bowl practices on Monday to evaluate them.
Despite labeling myself a "realist", no one understands my pain or appreciates my special truth. Stupid world.

That makes sense and would be a smart idea, so it can't be true.
BryanBroaddus “@whizz17: so one of the names floating around to be the next OC for the boys is Houston Nutt?? Is that a possibility?” RB coach believe.
He'd be a good RB coach or running game coordinator.

And his brother (Danny) was the running backs coach, which probably essentially means Houston was the RB coach.
"'Room' always makes me chuckle. That's irrelevant. What we have on a given day really doesn't relate to what you're ultimately going to have and how you're going to manage."
