Default My first mock of 2013

1)18 Jonathan Cooper- G/C North Carolina

He could be drafted to play center, if not he could compete at the guard position. One of the weaker positions on the team.

2)48 Matt Elam- S Florida fast, good pass defender, physical run defender. Just what we need.

3)80 Bennie Logan- DT LSU we need a three- technique pass rusher and he fits the bill.

4)111 Ricky Wagner- OT Wisconsin at 6-6 320 pounds he could push Doug Free out if Parnell hasn't already.

5)144 Wes Horton- DE USC coached by Monte Kiffin at USC, good size and speed that Kiffin will look for.

6)175 Stephon Jefferson- RB Nevada a quick, powerful back who would be a good change of pace back for Murray especially if Murray can't stay healthy. Jefferson is also a good receiver out of the backfield. Could be the sleeper pick out of the runningbacks in this years draft.

Bennie Logan is projected as a late 1st/Early 2nd. Don't see him lasting anywhere near 80. Other than its a good solid draft. No complaints here

I'll admit it's a bit early still and certain prospects will either rise or fall. Having said this I could be off on some of these guys and what round they go in.

I'm sure I'll do another one or two before the draft.

If Logan adds more weight, I could see him going late first or early second round but until then I can see him getting drafted in the third round.

If we got Elam in the second, I'd be thrilled.

The first 3 picks are good for sure. I would love to fill an OL hole in free agency and be able to go DT in the first.

Good. I like #1, #2 and #3. Any mock with Jonathan Cooper in it can't be bad. He started 1 game at Center in college. If he projects to Center in the NFL, then that puts him above just about anyone that could be available at #18, IMO.

I think 3rd round is about right for Logan.

Horton has some upside.

I need to review Jefferson. They definitely need to get a RB in this draft.

That'll be a very good draft.
