You are correct about Green Bay. They have a OC, however, he is more of an organizer than anything else. McCarthy calls the plays.

Note: That didn't stop the previous Green Bay OC - Joe Philbin, who also did not call plays, from getting a HC job.

Exactly. What some fans don't seem to grasp is that Offensive and Defensive game plans are not one man.

I guarantee you I can provide an article that says the 49ers Offense is not just Greg Roman and it is not just Jim Harbaugh.

Who cares about their role. Look at their experience as coaches and then compare that to boy wonder. Time to pull up a chair, get comfy, and accept losing if you REALLY want to compare Garrett to those guys.
