Default TJ McDonald can't even cover a 270 pound run blocking tight end

He is terrible. If it wasn't for the fact that he went to USC and his size at 6 ft 4, he would be a 7th round pick/undrafted

Yeah USC produces a lot of workout warriors on defense who convince teams to take them based on potential and physical ability. Pass!

Yes, he looks bad... i just hope Kiffin doesn't get him just because he "knows" the system...

Little Ball of Hate

Add me to the no TJ wagon, I like Cyprien and Thomas considerably better!

This is what I've been trying to tell everybody the past few days on thes boards. He really struggles in coverage. And he's about 6'2 1/2, the 6'4 label is not true. I really don't want to draft another Safety who struggles in coverage, I don't care how good of buddies he and Kiffin are.

He would be better suited as a LB. he doesn't have the cover skills to play safety.

If we want Elam and Vaccaro we have to go early 2nd at best. I'm starting to think Rambo gets pushed to the 2nd round now.
Possible Free Agents

Offensive Line
In Callahan we trust til further notice

Defensive Line
In Marinelli we trust till further notice

GO COWBOYS!

Vaccaro will be gone in the first. If we got Elam in round 2, I'd be thrilled, but he likely goes late first or early second.

Elam would be terrific, IMO, in Kiffin's scheme.

Elam,Rambo,Cyprien are my three Safeties.

Rambo is easily the best fit for us, but we won't draft him b/c 1. He failed a drug test 1 time so he is a "character issue".2.We hate drafting SEC players. We have drafted only drafted 3 SEC players total in the last 5 years. That is tied for the 2nd fewest amount of players from the SEC in the NFL. For whatever reason, we completely ignore the SEC it seems.
