It makes sense because Romo's current contract was 6 years but the signing bonus was only spread out over 5 years.

They can get around some of it by giving him a large guaranteed 2nd year base salary. This would allow them to give him a smaller signing bonus. After the 1st year, they would restructure the base salary into a restructure bonus and lower base salary. This appears to be what they did with Carr's contract.

D.Free should disclose his intentions for the good of the team...and enroll in that O.Linemans "clinic" that resurects the career of ave OLineman.

I'm trying to think of the OG name that went thru it and caught back on with the Cowboys 2 yrs ago......this year his money demands were too high for JJ
Maybe someone can help me out....

Or Free should be in Dallas the entire offseason working with the team Strength and conditioning staff ..........and Callahan the OLIne coach/staff.

Show me some effort to get things turned around and back to where he was .

Montrae Holland went to the LeCharles Bentley O-Line Academy in Ohio. He played a partial season (2011) after returning. He was out of football in 2012.

The only thing that could help Free would be PEDs (Steroids, HGH, etc..).

Has it crossed anyone's mind that this was a part of that one good season--get the money and get clean?
I'm not making an accusation, just cruious if anyone has considered that.
