I'd retire if I were him.
4 concussions in a single season. He hit his jackpot, just be smart with it and move on with your life.

Agreed. I'd never mess around with head injuries.

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

He doesn't need the $ anymore. In the end, your health is what counts. Time to step aside IMO.

I'm very intrigued by these concussion stories. Personally since August I've suffered 3-5 concussions from falls. Doctors can't figure out what's wrong with me, they just kept pumping me with meds, and are now saying that it's probably the meds that are making me such a fall risk.
Does anyone know what the full procedure is for players with concussions? Do the doctors prescribe them with tons of meds to push them through?

I would say this is a no brainer....
except that would be making light of a very serious situation. Robinson is a handsome, wealthy young man with a nice family: RETIRE, RETIRE, RETIRE and don't look back. He can keep whole signing bonus plus what he's made in base salary...it would be construed as screwing the Jags except he has NO choice. Jahvid Best of the Detroit Lions is the same way right now: they paid him alot of money, etc....but if you can't play you HAVE to do what's best for you and your family.

I doubt it.
Not sure someone could be expected to perform on meds that would increase someone's risk of falling.

This shouldn't even be a debate or discussion for him at this point. He clearly needs to walk away and call it a day. He doesn't need to be messing around with such things.

In HS sports, you suffer two in one season, you're done for the year. Not sure, but I think college may be the same. It should be, as it should also be for pro sports. Each concussion is different, but it just puts too much on the brain to keep having to recover from subsequent hits.
There's always more to the story.
