True, but he was a 23 year old who just started playing football for two years playing against guys who have been playing football and lifting weights since they were pre-teens. His lack of conditioning and muscle endurance compared to the competition is pretty glaring.

Yea, but the reason he's considered a great prospect is because of his elite athleticism. Being able to grow all the way into your body is more valuable than years of weight lifting when it comes to that.

Listened to a podcast last year that featured McGinn -- they asked him why had some extraordinary access to NFL scouts and why they are willing to share information with him that they won't share with anyone else. His answers were:

• He has been in the business for a long time as a NFL writer
• He has never once failed on his journalistic integrity -- ie, not once in his entire career did he reveal a scout's name or provide any clue which team a scout was working for. Over the years, that has equated to scouts trusting him in ways they would never trust other writers, including their own home town writers

I agree. Frederick has been my pet cat from the start. Warmack, Frederick and Fluker are old school Jimmy Johnson OL. Big, strong and nasty man blockers. Can you imagine those 3 in the center of our OL????

But our new emphasis on zone blocking will mean more guys like Tyron Smith (and Doug Free). Lighter, more agile & athletic with ability to block on the run.

So Cooper or Watson is our best bet. Maybe Armstead and/or Bailey if Cowboys continue trend of drafting OL in later rounds.

Hunt is definitely more mature, but he has less wear and tear on his body due to his relative newness to the game. But his upside is off the charts. He is big (not just long), strong and fast. Bigger, faster and stronger than Ansah.

He has adjusted to ST more quickly (17 career blocked kicks) than he has on D (15 sacks, 25 TFL, 1 INT, FF) but I disagree with others saying Hunt has plateaued while Ansah is still learning. They are both projects, but Hunt is the more proven playmaker.

And as big as Hunt is now (6'8 280 lbs), the guy has room on his frame to get bigger. I am glad the Cowboys do not agree with some of you regarding this player. Cowboys met with Hunt at the SR Bowl, so there is interest (even before his crazy combine numbers). And it appears that Ravens are very high on Hunt as well.

Hunt is terrible.

He may have been the worst DL at the Senior Bowl.

He simply can't play.
Drafting this 26 year old based on 40 and bench press is spitting in the wind.

He has zero technique for rushing the passer and is a 1 dimensional guy who basically can throw his hands up to block passes. He is easily moved out of the hole because he plays with zero leverage.
