Haha. No doubt he'll be rehabbing a catastrophic injury and miss his rookie season. Then we'll be told he just needs some time in the weight room in year two.
Then we'll cut him year three, but it will be no big deal because we snatched another late round "gem" out of the dumpster to replace him.

Good to hear that we are going O-line. Possibly in FA and the draft. I like it.

I'll reserve my joy and mirth until after I see something more than lip service and half-arsed reaches for late-rounders and rejects!

Guess we will find out in April but would not be shocked at all if a interior OL player is selected within the 1st 3 rds by the Cowboys. It is not as if Dallas has not drafted OL players within the 1st 3 rounds in the past including a 1st rd pick on Tyron Smith. No doubt some of the picks including those who were selected when BP was her like Peterman did not pan out but I don’t think the Cowboys oppose getting OL players as some here seem to think

No NFL team over the last 6 years has spent fewer first and second round picks on the O line then the Dallas Cowboys. You are what you are.

Is that true? Because that's an interesting stat. Or are there a lot of teams all balled up there at '1'?
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

Pat have had 2 OL players in the 1st or 2nd rd since 2006. I agree Dallas needs to add to the OL in the draft but the Cowboys have selected 5 OL players within the top 4 rds since 2007 including a 1st rd pick.

Thats the pattern. Plus when the starter goes down with an injury, BoBo will ride the pine while they bring in every street FA who played Guard in the last 4 years.

I'm just happy to hear the words "get serious" come out of Jerrys mouth when talking about OG/C. I think Jerry is more aware of the problems on the oline than some here would like to give him credit for. He might not be able to get out of his own way at times but he's not blind either.

 That's hilarious.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

If jerry is saying Olineman in draft then it means forget it, we will be looking at other positions to draft.
Jerry is a big believer in making public sentiment of what and where he wants to go prior to the draft, but then go completely different during

Dallas said last season they were looking at CB and low and behold we took a CB.
The year with got Tyron Smith they said they were looking at Tackles and took one.
I don't know if Dallas will take a safety with the 1st pick, a DL player or OL player but I do think Dallas will look to add to the OL with at least 1 pick in the 1st 3 rds of this draft.
