Game Thread NFL.com: Ramses Barden, Martellus Bennett out with Giants?

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...ut-with-giants

Free-agent tight end Martellus Bennett doesn't expect to be back with the New York Giants next season, andhttp://cowboyszone.com/forums/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=3 he isn't the only pass-catcher anticipating a new home.

Offseason Forecast: Giants
Around The League examines what's next for all 32 NFL teams. Kareem Copeland covers the Giants. More ...

Nestled behind Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks on the depth chart, wide receiver Ramses Barden believes a change of scenery will lead to new opportunities.

"I'm really kind of excited for the offseason, because as much fun as I've had in New York -- yeah, I was comfortable there -- it's probably best for me to start looking in other places for a new system, a refreshed sense of welcoming," Barden told SiriusXM NFL Radio, according to The Star-Ledger. "I think everybody can benefit from newness in their lives at a certain time, and this is going to be one of those for me."
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

End of discussion.

If you can't make it with mike pope.

wonder if Mara will fire mike pope for Bennett failing?

Probably end up with his brother in Tampa.

I bet he ends up in Cleveland with tight-end-ophile Rob Chudzinski. They go a ton of cap room, no tights worth mentioning on the roster and it's a weak TE market. I don't think anyone is knocking themselves out to give Marty B a lot of guaranteed money. He was even offering the Giants a home team discount.

I guess it's back to his house on Venus to wait beside the phone.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

Or if he'd drop it if it did? Probably, on both counts.

Barden's kind of slow and maybe not an everydown-WR, but he might make a good short-area red-zone target at least with his size and physicality. Just loft the ball to him in a far corner of the end zone and watch him get it. Of course, I thought the same of Andre Holmes.

My favorite hobby - watching Mustangs fall behind in the rearview mirror of my '01 C5.
