I'd bet most of us think this guy is going to be good
However, he has yet to do anything. Anything.
He needs to prove himself 1st and we have all seen highly touted people fall on their face. Happens all the time.
Personally I think he will at least be good and has a chance to be great. However, I'm not going to pass out trophies until the season is over.
Injuries and exhibiting behavior that is self defeating also cuts careers short.
This is only a small warning flag. Put enough together and it spells trouble. I'm more concerned with his lying to the NFL than cutting class.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

The only argument skins fans could salvage about danny not taking Jr. was his attitude. Well after watching him after the draft, reading several articles, him missing practice because he got a pie in his face, and now the skip out on the meeting? The skins better make it a priority to get this kids head on straight, because they sacrificed a gamechanger for him...

As much as I hate to say this: Those who live in glass houses, you know the rest.
We have definetly had one or two players that could also fit into the category also don't you think Sal?
I think that when Taylor gets his head out of the sand, he's gonna be a serious player in the league. Just think back to when you were 21 or 22 and think how you would have reacted if you were in his shoes and going to make some serious cash. I know the rebuttal is gonna be :But they're supposed to be professionals, but he is still a kid.

You're preaching to the choir cw. Maybe I should have added some Cowboy players. But it was a Redskin we're talking about so...
My point was it takes so much more than talent to excell at this level. I mentioned professionalism because this isn't a hobby anymore (unless your Bo). There is so much more focus and preparation required in the NFL and that's why so many of the great college can't miss blue chippers can't hang.
Larimore, Lett, ____, _____ the list is pretty long. But think of how good they wold have been if they had approached and embraced their professions the way they did their partying.
Yeah, their kids. But this is a mans game and if you can hang then you can make it if not somebody else will gladly take your place.
b.t.w. I was pretty wild when I was that age but I knew that I had to get up, go to work and perform the next day. That means a little more when you're only making 25K a year and if you lose your job then its back to sleeping in the car.

There is nothing I hate more than defending a redskin but don't you think that being the 5th selection by the 'Skins Taylor is going to get alot more slack than a 4th or 5th rounder would have? I'm sure that Taylor realizes that. I'm not saying that it is right, but it is just the nature of the beast.
As far as him performing that isn't even a question, I'm sure when it's game time he's gonna be focused on the task at hand much to my dismay.

What do you expect from someone who thinks his coach is Joe Gibs???
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Yeah, he's got more rope than the lower round picks but all I'm saying is that it was a knuckle head thing to do.
And trust me, speaking from plenty of experience, I know a knuckhead when I see one.

By the time I was 21 -22
I had 4 then 5 years in the Army Reserves accured. I was doing my 2nd and 3rd year of college that I was paying for out of my own pocket.
I was very responsible person. I would say I was mature but that be a lie because I am still just a big kid
