Default Give J Jones a shot along with the two OL

If they pan out then you got two extra picks and a RB. J Jones was a bargain and we picked up some picks. When you're rolling dice then the more throws the better. Hope all else is going well.

Ark my good buddy I totally lost my buzz when I heard the Boys traded down. Fortunately the Lions traded up for Kevin Jones so at least it won't be painful to watch them anymore.

As for the Cowbys, we at least got a guy who can return kicks and be a backup to whichever running back we draft in the first round next year. With Henson having at least half a season's experience and two top 15 picks they Cowboys will be set to complete their rebuilding process. Who knows maybe we take Mike Williams in the supplemental draft.

That's what makes a fan a fan, my friend. Sure, in three years we can all look back and grade the draft accurately. But part of the fun is forming our opinions now. Some people like the trade down, some didn't.

Honestly, I didn't like it at first, but now that I've read that Parcells had just about all the running backs ranked equally (and S.Jackson wasn't even the first on his board), at least I know he did the right thing by his draft board.

well it's not like there's anything I can do, if I thought I was better you can bet I'd be out there trying out! Jones could easily be a Dave Megget type and if Parcells doesn't like Jackson for whatever reason, like I said, at least we're set up for next year.

Give it a rest JD. Your constant pessimism/whining is old.

It would be different if you ever gave reasons to why you feel something, but you don't. Just blanket statements. "So and so won't be drafted next year." "This draft sucked." "Those picks were wasted" etc....

Blah, blah, fricken' blah.

JD's got a right to his opinion. And it's an opinion that almost every draft board emulates. Dallas trades down and trades down and pick up three BJ Tuckers and Zuriel Smiths that are going to end up cut in the middle of training camp.

I can understand trying to look on the bright side, but don't slam a member of the board for telling it like it is.
"Young man, when you throw a strike, Mr. Hornsby will let you know."
Bill Klem when a pitcher questioned a called ball to Rogers Hornsby.
