Schedule quirk
I don't know if this has been discussed or if anyone else noticed it. Except for the two games after our bye week we don't play back to back games at home or on the road. We alternate each week. I just find it odd and don't remember ever seeing it before.

Someone mentioned that when the schedule first came out, they mentioned something about the players having jetlag and fatigue from flying so much...I don't every remember them not having one single back to back home games..

Another scheduling quirk I just noticed...
If you look at the schedule on DC.com, the home games are sponsored by various companies. The Titans' preseason game is "presented" by Sirius Satellite Radio, then there is Pepsi and Dr. Pepper presenting games as well.
Has this been done before? I have never noticed it, if so.

I would assume they are locally sponsored because I don't remember seeing any games on tv that were sponsored.

Here's another quirk.
Both the Cowboys and Eagles play Bal, Cin, Cle, and Pit. But that's not the quirk.
Philly gets the 1st and 2nd place teams, Bal and Cin, at home. They play the 3rd and 4th place teams, Cle and Pit, on the road.
For Dallas it's just the opposite. 3rd and 4th place teams at home, 1st and 2nd place teams on the road. Much tougher.
Seems like 1st and 3rd, 2nd and 4th would've made more sense.

we always seem to have an early season bye week. never later in the year when it is really needed. I know the thanksgiving game creates a small one, but it still seems unfair to me.
