Default Interesting Eddie George fact

It was brought up earlier today on ESPN radio.

Ricky Williams had 392 attempts for 1372 yards last season.

Eddie George had 312 attempts for 1031 yards last year.

If you give Eddie George the extra 80 attempts at his average per attempt (3.3), he would then have 1,295 yards rushing (additional 264). All in all, only 77 yards less than Ricky Williams had last season.

77 yards!

Yet Williams is considered one of the greatest RB's in the game and Eddie George is considered washed up and beyond his prime by many accounts. Does 77 yards really make that big of a difference? I think not.
