A half dozen teams put in waiver claims? I wonder if any of them would have offered a pick instead...

I hope Jerry at least tested the trade waters first.

Yeah we will be fine with guys who "Get it" but it is too bad, Blade did have a natural quickness for a big guy...
However, I think we will have our best Dline in many years...
Look for Stewert to even over shadow Glover! They are saying Carson could be great too...
I hope so, we need great DT play for the DE's to make big plays...

Now THAT would have been funny. I wish that I would have seen that.

Default Leo Carson

IMHO, I believe Leo Carson has already been annointed our starter. He played well in limited time last season. And he has experience playing alongside Wiley in San Diego.

Blade may have started, but he was invisble all season. Check out his stats, or lack thereof.

If we could have gotten value for him (draft pick) then this is just another example of BP trying to make a point at the expense of the future of the Cowboys ( ala Derrick Ross) which does bug me.

I like BP as a coach but this kind of thing is a little irritating.

He's basically playing a nose tackle position where his job is to occupy blockers so that others can rack up stats. Look at Dat's best year as a pro last year as proof of that. The Cowboys are cutting him because of his offseason, not what he did on the field.
