RBs and special teams

With the George signing it gives us several RBs that won't/can't play on ST.

Anderson, George, Martin, and Jones...even though there is talk about him returning KO, I doubt you risk him.

This lack of flexibility could mean we cut another area short, like OL, to have more ST capable players.

I see this along with maybe keeping 4 QBs as a possible problem.

We wont keep 4 QBs. Romo will have to make the PS.

Cason, the 4th and 5th WRs, 3rd, 4th TE, and all the backup LBs and safeties will play ST. So will most of the CBs.

I dont think we will have a problem at all. If we did we could have easily kept Whalen.

Cason, probably gets cut.

Right now we have:

HB: Jones, George, Anderson, Lee, and Cason

FB: Martin, Barnes, Polite

Martin gets cut because he CAN'T play ST. But we still have a numbers problem, where younger players will get cut, or we will have to go light at another position.

The coaches like Romo, part of the reason he was not sent to NFLE, was to not over expose him. What happens if he has a great camp and looks like he may be a keeper? We put Henson on the PS? Don't think so. Cut Vinny? Trade Carter? Or have to keep 4 QBs?

Martin could play on the kick off return team as part of the wedge. Other than that, I don't see any other spots on special teams for him.

Looking at special team Dallas will play guys like Roy Williams along with other starters. Special teams is too important to have only backup players on it. Even under Jimmy Johnson many front line players played on the special teams due to the importance of the unit.
