If George's presence allows Jones to return kicks and avoid high numbers of carries in games where the Cowboys are grinding it out on the ground, then I think the team is ultimately better for it.
If Lee continues to have a great camp as I have read he is having and J Jones is the real deal, then trading George to Miami in the last week of preseason becomes , IMO, a very likely possibility.

Eddie wants to play and it might be beneficial to him and something he might want. Dallas would not want to let a young guy like Lee, if special, go to keep a guy who has a couple of years left.

Probably won't happen but I would see that happening before we let Lee go in the above scenario.

Oh, and to answer the question Jones starts and E George is the third down back or the guy that comes in when Jones needs a rest when we are running the ball 40 times a game.

Bp said in the PC that he wanted to run the ball 36 times each game and when they did they were 9-0. Look for more of the same this year.

There are different situations that a RB is used and all of them are not break away plays. In a short yardage situation, I would rather have George than JJ or Tham. I don't think EG will lay down at the shadow of a defensive player. He will get yards after contact. There are plays when the back will need to block for the QB. EG is better at this than JJ. Especially picking up the blitz. This will make Q or whomever is QB look better and therefore make the team look better. Some say picking up the blitz is harder for a rookie RB to learn than the running plays. With KJ who is a blocking WR, a blocking FB, a better OL, our running game should be better with EG and JJ. By the way Tham asked to leave, he was not told to leave. He might have even looked better this year if he had stayed. Now he may wind up on the porch, with his brother, talking about how bad the Boys did him.
