We need another WR, but...

I am troubled by the fact that we will probably address it this year in the draft.

I want nothing more than a young, speedy WR on this team to boost the offense and move towards the future.
But this year's draft is one of the worst that I can recall in recent memory in terms of WR draft prospects.

There were many last year that peaked my interest in different rounds. (Clayton, White, Murphy, V. Jackson, Bradley, etc.)

But this season there aren't many at all that are jumping out at me.
I like a couple but I'm not excited about any. And FA isn't offering much, either.

I'm just afraid that we are going to get a WR in an early middle-middle round and not only is he going to be average in potential but he is going to deter us from selecting one again in the next couple drafts.

We can't keep playing with 30-somethings and in our current position if we lost Glenn for any significant time you can kiss our season good bye. I don't like our season's success relying on a fragile, aging, albeit talented WR. And even if we can get through another season as is, we NEED our future guy to be here immediately to speed the transition for when he is needed.
