Kinda figured they already had gone to that offense but yeah, your right. This needs to be a big year for Vick and I'm not talking about rushing for a thousand yards. This needs to be the year that Vick shows why he was drafted 1.

I'm with Dale.

In the UK with soccer. A hyper-talented player can be tolerated if he behaves like an animal - but they have to be outstanding players, and able to at least give the image they are decent human beings....

I've been involved with professional soccer in the UK- so understand the way the changing room mentality works.

In football, is it the same? Because of the greater number of guys involved, is it easier to reign destructive characters in? Do they conform more easily?

My guess is that a locker room with TO may already be full to capacity with character issues!

He's not even a good football player.

Eli sucks and so does Marcus Vick. You're last name doesn't make you a football player.

Weren't people saying he was a better passer than his bro too? And he didn't even get drafted while Vick went in the 1st round right?

You know what that says....

Michael is overrated!!!

I totally agree with you here Dale.

This guy has attitude issues that will continue to surface throughout his young adult life.

Guns and drugs are serious baggage.

Some here are saying, sign him and if he screws up, cut him.

The type of things he does are often illegal, .. what if one of our other young players just happen to be with him when he does something, and gets implicated by association.

Then we lose two players, for what ? that piece of crap.

Get this, ... during ONE game at WVU, he gave the crowd the finger, and later elbowed an assistant coach in the back of the head as he ran back on the field after being tackled on our sideline.

Think about that, he elbowed an assistant coach, who had his back to him while looking out on the field, in the back of the head.

He didn't just bump him in the back intentionally, .. he reached out and elbowed some guy, who wasn't even looking, in the back of the head.

It was no surprise to see him intentionally step on that guys leg in the Louisville game.

Vick will never play for Parcells.

How do you think he's gonna feel when he comes to later today (notice that I did not say wakes up this morning) Bleary-eyed, headachy, needing a joint or a fix of some kind, naturally crabby when first awake. After his first few loud, slurping sips of coffee, he'll realize all 32 teams passed him by every chance they got and no body wanted him. I wonder how many UDFA calls he got last night?

I'll bet there were a lot of differences in the kinds of partying the draftees were doing and the kind of partying he was doing last night. He probably didn't do nearly as much laughing. Will he look himself in the mirror this morning, or will he even come to before noon?

Who cares?

I'm mostly with you. I'm a Hokie alum/fan and I've seen a fair amount of Vick on the field (but not nearly as much as many Hokies admittedly) and I've never thought that he's a sure thing, talent-wise. His arm is better than Michael's and his legs are worse, neither of which says much. I would say his running skills aren't any better than a good mobile QB and his arm isn't nearly good enough. He's still a project on the field.

I can't believe there are actually fans who WANT Marcus Vick on their team!

He is a DISGRACE as a human being and is destined to become Tyrone's "prison " in cell block "C"!

Good Lord people, why would you want someone on your team with his lack of character and disgraceful past? Not to mention, where would you play him? Don't say QB cause I might just have a coronary from laughing so hard!

Let's focus on real human beings that actually have a chance to contribute to the team and not on losers! Geesh.

Not sure if this is old news, or even accurate news, but I read on another website that Oakland had signed Vick.
Behold the greatest Coach in NFL History

Oakland? Well I can say he'll fit right in with that team and fanbase.
