Man, I bet this "fatarse" can whoop any of our , and 75% or more of the defenders u put in front of him. Geez.
Leadership is getting someone to do what they don't want to do, to achieve what they want to achieve.

A few things to consider....
1) As noted before, he called the Cowboys, not the other way round.
2) His stted motivation was to be on a team that could win the Superbowl. He sees the potential for success in Dallas.
3) He has an impressive resume. This guy was leader on a Gruden-coached team.
4) The Cowboys gave up nothing to get him here. If he impresses, great. If he doesn't, nothing is lost except a little bit of somebody's time.
All these things may not amount to a lot, but unlike some past decisions, there is no risk to this team. What's not to like?
The Truth will STILL not be the first casualty of war

I totally agree with this statement...... I'd like to see anyone on this board go up against kennedy! Why don't some of you that have been ripping him apart board a plane and go try out for our offensive line! Think you can do better??????

Doesn't anyone realize that 2-3 years removed from a pro bowl career means you have to be awful and not worth a look? Who cares if it doesn't cost us anything. I may not be in the Dallas organization but even I can tell he has no skills by what I read on my little monitor. Can't you all see that?

Really? I get hot just thinking about it.
Out of curiousity, anybody remember how old/big Ray Donaldson was when we signed him in '95?
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

As was mentioned earlier, we should at least give him a shot at NT. Cleveland has Ted Washington starting at NT @ age 38 & a svelt 365, (which means he's a lot closer to 380).
All Kennedy would have to do is just get in the way of the OC & an OG, and let the LBs make the plays. It would take at least two players to move him out of the middle. By that time, SOMEONE is bound to make a play on the ball carrier..... .
Or put him at OC when we have to play against 3-4 defenses. Same theory. Problem with that, though, is that he would have to move in that situation.

really cant see how somebody that weighs that much and hasnt played in two yrs can help to be quite honest...if he CAN help then it says what a truly sad shape our OL is in

If he was 6'3" or shorter, then he would be terribly out of shape to weigh 380 lbs but this guy is 6'7". Not to mention that he could drop about 20 lbs easily in training camp and probably be at his playing weight when he was All-Pro. Yeah, I know it was listed at 335 lbs but we all know how accurate that is. Its a no lose situation. Sometimes taking a rest like he did gives the body time to heal. We will see.

I think you are kidding?
6'7" kind of tall for a NT, don't you think?
