We gave the ball back on downs....went single coverage on Rice...and he scored a TD just before half.
Even then we still had a shot until the NON interference call with Sanders vs Irvin.

Newman had a bad day. BUT he is the guy who SHOULD have been one on one with Williams. He has shut other top WRs down before; so he and not the very short Glenn should have been on him. No way that mis match should have been allowed.

This is exactly why Glenn is covering Williams. We play zone and don't give a single thought to matchups.
Everyone else does, meaning calling plays against this defense is a piece of cake.
Hmm...shorty is playing LCB. Let's put a tall guy over there and just throw it up for grabs.
I could have called that play...

He was one on one with Williams, Mike Williams and he couldn't cover him either.

Agreed.
Everybody was LOVING Aaron Glenn when he jumped that route against NYG on 3rd and Goal from the 4. He nearly picked it off, and that was against the 6'5 Plastico.
