The bottom line in this draft for us is that we desperatley need a playmaker on Offense. We have missed one since Irvin left. Emmitt was slowing down and Troy wasn't Troy anymore. Galloway wasn't the Answer so, if K. Jones is there we need to take him because he is that playmaker. If we are going to stick with QC at QB we need to get him something that can be called a RB. And who knows what we might do in the second but in the first round in our situation you have to take the playmaker.

I agree, but I also think we missed out on obtaining a playmaker in free agency. At pick #22, it's gonna be a crap-shoot.

Sleep on this:

Year: 1999
Event: NFL DRAFT
Cowboy 1st Round Pick (#20): Ebenezer Ekuban, DE, North Carolina

That'll make you dream of dancing sugar plums tonight!

And just to make sure you chuck!

Pick # 22 (same year)
Seattle Seahawks (Lamar King)

Marcus Tubbs = Detroit's Shaun Rogers ... I think he will make somebody very happy in the late 1st round or early 2nd.

Default Oh K Jones without a doubt.

I have advocated drafting him since the season ended and see no reason short of somebody jumping ahead of us and grabing him not to. The DT I want is the kid from U of Maryland and I believe he will be available to us in later rounds.

I would mention a WR but everybody seemed to think we are set at WR now. I am not so sure myself. I don't see any of the real good CBs as available at 22 and don't see us moving up. oving down and shirking the responsibility of geting the best available at 22 in the first also does not bear thinking on.
