With CB Cason running just under 4.50, where do you
think he will fall in the Draft?
I am expecting that McKelvin, Cromartie, and Jenkins may be gone by 22.
But I'm thinking Cason should be fair value at 28, for example.
He is a "football player", and while he's not blazing fast, he has the ball skills, toughness, etc to start at CB down the line.
Or do you guys think he falls to the 2nd round?

It could depend on his Pro Day workout. Right now, I'd say he's a 2nd round pick.

But likely gone by the middle of the 2nd I'd guess . . . . I doubt he would make it to us with our 2nd rounder.

Think he falls to the 2nd. I got to watch him in person this year and the kid can play. Hope we pick him up, but I just don't see it, unless we trade out of one of our firsts and pick up an extra second earlier in the round.

He's a 2nd for sure.
There are too many CBs ahead of him to go round 1.
He is probably 7th or 8th at CB by most accounts. This is a ridiculously deep Cb draft. Might be the best ever at the position.
I would be quite happy with any of about 10 guys as our nickel corner next year.
But I still don't know what any team saw Thursday night that would have made them comfortable with waiting a round or two for the offensive lineman they wanted. ---Todd McShay
We just converted half our LB to DL. We have a 30m starting DL, it better be pretty friggin good.

That could depend on if we trade out of round 1 at 28 and land a high 2nd pick to take him.

He'll get drafted in the 1st. I would only rank 1 CB ahead of him right now.

I still think he's a 1st round pick on football ability.

For those that want to talk about college production, in 2007 he was targeted 73 times and gave up only 23 passes for 258 yards, 2 TDs, and had 5 INTs. That's a 3.53 YPA and an opponents' QB rating of 23.6. He also had 14 passes defended.

I'd take him at 28, no problem.
