Philadelphia Eagles 2008 Draft
• Pick No. 47: Philadelphia Eagles select Travor Laws, DT, Notre Dame
Pro analysis: No real shock here, as Eagles coach Andy Reid loves to stock his defensive line early in the draft. The Eagles have been hit or miss on D-line picks, but remember they took Irish DE Victor Abiamiri last year and probably got a good scouting report on Laws.
• Pick No. 49: Philadelphia Eagles select DeSean Jackson, WR, Cal
Pro analysis: Jackson could have landed in the perfect situation with the Eagles. He doesn't have to be a No. 1 or No. 2 WR with Kevin Curtis and Reggie Brown on board and could be deadly as a third option. He'll also spice up a return game that has long been a problem in the City of Brotherly Love.
