Actually my point was that the Giants hits/sacks were more vicious and damaging than the Dallas hits/sacks. As were the Steelers. I dont like to see players get hurt, but how about the Dallas D laying on some hurtin?

Nate Newton said the same thing. He talked about how opposing defenses slam the QB to the ground, but our players knock down the opposing QBs verly softly and sometimes help them up afterwards. I wonder where does that mentality begin? Surely if fans like us can see the effort put forth by the opposition, our coaches and players can see it too. Right?
Romo should stand up before our defensive players and say, "You see how I can barely walk? That's how the other QB should feel right now."

That's why I'd like a NASTY NT.
Perhaps a couple of OLinemen like Columbo too....

I've noticed this difference too... I wonder if they're coached with a power puff mentality from their powder puff HC/DC?

Probably trying to make sure they don't get penalized for unnecessary roughness if they drive the QB into the ground.
You know the refs take any opportunity they can eek out to throw the laundry on the field for us.

Well it sucks... & it's really bad when, as a fan of a team, you can see the difference like night & day. I can understand the whole don't get penalized thing but... geez... it does play into the whole "soft" thing a bit.

If you are going to be the most penalised team in the NFL you may as well have a few for slamming the QB into the ground.

Yea, because Lord knows we need more fodder on the boards for people to cry about.

The thread was posted, but she asked whether anyone else had seen it. It was then pointed out it was fake. No issues on my end.

Eli seemed to be in better shape after 8 sacks. We need some NASTY.

seriously when we get sacks 90% of them are soft sacks. we rarely make it hurt.

Our sacks look more like we're laying the QBs down to sleep and reading them bedtime stories.
