Default got a new computer
my 1st buy

nice HP Pavilion Desktop, so much better than the 5-year old, hand-me-down I was using

and the speakers work!!!

I think he meant the hardware... you know, what CPU, how much RAM, what size hard drive(s)...

Not bad... I've "only" got a 120 GB hard drive, and I got it 7 years ago, and I still have 75 GB of space left... perhaps that's because before I got that one, my first PC only had a 2.5 GB hard drive, if you can believe that, and by the time I got rid of it, I still had a full gig of space left... I learned early on to do my "housekeeping"... LOL...

Have fun with it, you should be able to hold LOTS of pron on it...

Congratulations!!!


I use my IBM PC w/640 RAM. 1 full height 5 1/4 disk drive and 1 full height 20MB hard disk. I recently added an expansion card and upgraded the memory to 2MB. Works Great!

Yea, but now after reading this post, I'm considering upgrading my pc too. Thinking about upgrading to an IBM AT... 286 Processor.. Man will I be flying....
